UKMT Junior Mathematics Challenge
Early this year, 22 members of our year 7 and 8 cohort, took part in the UKMT Junior Mathematics Challenge. This prestigious national competition is aimed at pupils who are in the top third ability of year 8 nationally.
The results are now in and Scarisbrick Hall School performed exceedingly well, receiving Gold (top 7%), Silver (next 14%) and Bronze awards (next 19%). All pupils who took part in the competition excelled and did the school proud. A huge congratulations and thanks must go out to all pupils who took part.

Best in Year 8: Victoria Worthington
Gold Medals: Victoria Worthington (Y8), Gregory Halliwell (Y8), Annabel Donovan (Y8) and Bradley Rimmer (Y7)
Silver Medals: David Dow (Y7) and Harry Trigg (Y7)
Bronze Medals: Thomas Ward (Y7)
