Scarisbrick Hall School have recently held their own production of Joseph and his Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat. Across all three nights a sell out audience were treated to an entertaining and professional performance from this talented group of young people. The whole production was an outstanding success with children form ages 7 to 16 performing on stage together. Many of the pupils also contributed by assisting in the technical team with lighting, sound, make up and costumes. The cast were accompanied each night by a live show band directed by Mr Bullock, Head of Performing Arts and included the peripatetic staff on percussion, woodwind and brass.
Mr Shaw (Headmaster) said 'We are extremely proud of everyone who contributed to making this production a great success, from the cast on stage to those behind the scenes in production and lighting. We are already looking forward to the next production!'
Joseph - Lewis Bell
Narrators - Lydia Roberts & Francesca Medlicott
Mrs Potipher/Pharoah - Sam Rigby
We are always very happy to arrange taster days for your son or daughter. We usually suggest 2 days and it will allow your son or daughter to experience, first hand, the School during a normal working day. Children can attend in their current school uniform and we recommend they bring with them PE attire as well. Please do not just take our word for it; experience the School for yourself if this would help your decision-making!!
Please contact the Admissions Secretary, Mrs Suzie Walmsley, on 01704 842210, if you would like further details.
